Selling your HDB flat through Power of Attorney

Selling of property requires multiple documents you will need to sign at various stages of the transaction. If you are unable to personally attend to these contractual matters, you can appoint a Power Of Attorney to ensure that your transaction proceeds without hiccups.

This means authorizing someone else to act on your behalf, for matters relating to your HDB flat sale, However, the selling price of the property is still subjected to the owner unless stated otherwise.

When authorizing documents, such as the Option-To-Purchase, it is important that your POA includes your name (the seller) on the contract instead of his/her own. To find out more about appointing an HDB POA, and how to go about the process of selling your property, fill in your details below and I’ll contact you to explain further.
